Rebates will be higher once you or your family reaches the annual Medicare Safety Net threshold. After you have met the Extended Medicare Safety Net threshold, Medicare will reimburse 80% of the out-of-pocket cost of your consultation. This will substantially reduce the ongoing cost of consultations if you become involved in ongoing treatment. Please visit the Medicare Website or contact Medicare by phone for further information about this scheme.
